dHealth AS takes privacy seriously and is mindful of our responsibility and trust in securing and handling information with care. This document outlines how we approach privacy and uphold these considerations. By downloading and using our services, you consent to the storage of personal information for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy.

Personal information is information that could be connected to you as a person, for example name, street address, phone number, email address, ip address.

dHealth AS (org nr. 925 579 769) is responsible for the apps and the processing of your personal information.

About the services

dHealth offers its services through the mobile apps StressProffen, EPIO, eChange (the apps). They were developed by the Department of Digital Health Research (DIG) at the Oslo University Hospital and are evidence-based self management apps within life style, stress- and pain management.

The apps are primarily designed for private use, but can also be used for municipalities and organizations to support their users and employees with stress, pain and weight issues. In this case the users will be able to share progress and registrations in the apps.

Purpose of collection

The purpose of collecting personal information is for us to be able to provider you as a user a evidence-based solution in combination with the ability to being followed up by a contact person. The personal information is only used for necessary functionality and to improve our services.

Types of personal information we process

Type Purpose Removal
User data Used to verify you as a user and the ability to send important information about the service. Can be deleted from app account settings. If you don't have access to the app anymore, the data can also be deleted from https://dhub.dhealthapp.no/deleteme.
Inquiries When you contact us with questions, we store information about the inquiry. This includes the question itself, as well as the email and name of the inquirer. History is essential for customer support inquiries, so information here is not automatically deleted.
Newsletter Upon subscribing to the newsletter, we store your name and email. All newsletters include an unsubscribe/delete link.
Health-related data The eChange app enables the registration of weight and activity, and optionally retrieve this data automatically from a health app like Google Fit or Apple Health. The data is only stored locally on the device. Data is removed when the app data or the app itself is deleted.
Name The contact person that invites users has the ability to enter personal names for easier management over the invitees. Contact the person who invited you for removal, optionally contact us for removal.
Wellbeing registrations The apps lets you register daily parameters as stress, sleep, activity, rest and mood. They are primarily only stored locally on your device. But you also have the ability to share this with your contact person. This requires a consent in its own consent form in the apps. You can change your consent at any time in the apps settings. Locally stored data is removed by removing the app data or the app itself. Shared data is removed by deleting the user data as described in the "User data" section.

The data we process is kept until you perform removal or there is no need for the data anymore.

Sharing of information

We have some partners with whom we collaborate to enhance and secure the apps. When the apps share your information with third parties, a separate data processing agreement is established. We do not sell or provide information to other third parties that do not support the services we offer.

In relation to personal data, you have certain statutory rights as an individual. More detailed information can be found at the European Commission website.

Changes to the privacy policy

dHealth reserves the right to change the privacy policy on a months notice. If the changes are in dHealth's understanding for the users' benefit or of lesser significance the change can be made without notice.
